Combining 10W diode and 2W infrared lasers with engraving speeds up to 5,000 mm/s, GE1 brings multi-material personalization to creators, makers, and small businesses.
ACMER introduces GE1, its first fully enclosed galvo laser engraver, expanding the company’s lineup with a system designed for personalized products, detailed creative work, and small-batch production. Combining dual-laser versatility with high-speed galvo engraving, GE1 helps beginners and custom-product creators move from an idea to a finished piece across a wide range of materials.
GE1 brings a 10W diode laser and a 2W infrared laser together in one machine, supporting more than 300 materials without swapping laser modules. The diode laser handles engraving and cutting on materials such as wood, leather, paper, and black acrylic, while the infrared laser enables fine marking and engraving on bare metals and selected plastics. Creators can develop wood-and-metal gifts, personalized accessories, and coordinated product collections using a single system.
With engraving speeds up to 5,000 mm/s, GE1 is designed to support faster turnaround on repeat designs and batch orders. For small businesses producing personalized tags, gifts, and accessories, that speed offers more flexibility when handling multiple orders or working toward a delivery deadline. With 0.001 mm motion accuracy, GE1 brings fine detail to small surfaces, from jewelry and miniature lettering to intricate decorative artwork.
The fully enclosed design marks a new direction for ACMER’s galvo engraving range. The enclosure helps contain stray laser light and processing fumes, while automatic smoke extraction helps maintain a cleaner workspace. Overheat protection and an emergency stop provide additional safeguards during operation.

GE1 also simplifies preparation. It arrives pre-assembled, with dedicated Preview and Engrave buttons directly on the machine. After users enter the material thickness, the motorized Z-axis adjusts the laser head to the appropriate focal height. Outline Framing traces the artwork’s actual contour, helping users check its size, orientation, and placement before engraving.
GE1’s accessory ecosystem expands its capabilities as creative and production needs grow. The optional ACMER G1 Slide Extension increases the standard 105 × 105 mm working area to 105 × 370 mm, providing more room for longer designs and batch layouts. The optional ACMER G5 Rotary Chuck enables 360° engraving on cylindrical items such as tumblers and rings, extending personalization beyond flat surfaces.
For users looking to improve fume management, the optional ACMER Mini Air Purifier adds a compact filtration option alongside GE1’s enclosed design and smoke extraction. Together, these accessories support a more versatile engraving workspace, helping creators take on a wider range of projects as their businesses develop.
For software, GE1 supports ACMER GE LAB on Windows and Android, alongside compatibility with LightBurn Pro, giving users a choice of workflows as their experience grows.
With GE1, ACMER brings fully enclosed galvo engraving into its product portfolio, pairing speed and fine detail with the flexibility to work across metal and non-metal materials. From a first personalized gift to a growing collection of products for sale, GE1 gives creators a versatile platform for turning their designs into finished work.
