Acmer likes to include this little self test right here. This little test that they did and it does a really good job of showing you what the machine is capable of. Uh like I said the engraves are really clean uh whether you run air assist or whether you don't. That is a choice for you. Uh but without the air assist on, a lot of this stuff it looks really really nice the dot size on this machine. So far has been pretty impressive for a 40 watt and guys y'all know I love my X40 uh but I will say that in a head-to-head same sheet of material same test uh the P3 has actually beaten out my X40.

You can pick your base module and then you can go back.
And you add others if you want.
So if wanted to, you could have this 48/24W module add the 10W/2W IR module. And then you're going to have the best of all the worlds there between high quality engravings on the lower spot size on up to high power 48. And then also the IR to be able to deal with some metals and plastics as well sort of nice variety of different modules you can put on this laser now.

whoa check this out this is exactly what I was looking for, beatiful clean crisp details throughout the engraving is nearly a tenth of an inch deep when I check out the cut all the way around. There's no charring look at that simply clean and this hasn't even been cleaned up at all and I am going to leave this just as it is. I though I was going to do a two-tone color paint scheme on here but I already have the dual tone color of the bare wood versus the engraving so I think instead I'm actually going to just use a couple coats of a spray polyurethane to finish this first project.

A completely new system for moving the laser module was installed in this engraver. Here we have two stepper motors installed.
They work in pairs and this allows for increased smoothness and significantly improved printing accuracy as speed increased.
Conventional engravers have one stepper motor, and with the help of a metal shaft, two guides are driven by one motor.
Right here we have two engines, and with the speed increases, we get a wave effect.

Are the honeycomb beds for ACMER P3 and P2 interchangeable?

The honeycomb bed used in ACMER P3 has positioning holes for fixation, which prevents misalignment during the pulling process. The height of the honeycomb bed for ACMER P3 is 13mm, while other honeycomb beds have a height of 22mm. Therefore, the honeycomb bed for ACMER P3 is compatible with P2. However, the honeycomb beds for P2 cannot be used on ACMER P3.
