ACMER P2 20 watt

This is an awesome machine. Although this is my first laser engraver, I own and have used CNC equipment for many years. I had been looking to buy a laser for over 6 months, watching every video and reading every article I could. After doing a lot of research, this was the only machine I could find (in this price range) that had what I was looking for.
1- actual linear rails on both axis
2- the power output I wanted
3- solid build quality
4- upgradable and expandable
5- I could afford
The unit I purchased was “refurbished” by ACMER. I put “refurbished” in quotations because if I didn’t know otherwise, I would have sworn it was a brand new unit. The unit came with a small air pump, which has worked fine, but I could see upgrading it down the road. The engravings this machine produces are beautiful and its cutting ability is no joke. I would definitely recommend buying an enclosure to contain and vent the smoke/fumes produced. I built one myself but this isn’t a feasible option for everyone. This machine has exceeded my expectations. I can honestly say I have no regrets buying this unit.
